In 2011, Sherwood partnered with Long Wharf Real Estate Partners to purchase this large development site out of foreclosure. Our joint venture assembled additional air rights from a neighboring building, which allowed the site to be zoned for an 800,000 square foot mixed-use tower. When markets quickly rebounded 18 months later, we sold the site to an investment group.
